Jobs and invoices are two different things in our database.

Yes it's normal that your invoice isn't automatically updated when you change something in a job. That's because jobs and invoices are two different things in our database and because it's too risky to edit the data of an invoice when it has already been sent to a client.

When you change something in a job, you can very easily update the corresponding invoice by clicking on the three dots at the end of the line in the invoice and selecting 'Sync with job data'. This will apply to the invoice all the changes you made at the job level.

You can also update all the lines of an invoice at once by clicking on Actions > Sync with job data when you're in the invoice.

When you change something in a job, it's better to delete the previous invoice and recreate it.
